  1. I just noticed that Heart of Ontario trail H9 turns west and joins trail H11 heading into Beaverton. 354C749D-9796-40F6-89CD-9C4438AED8BE.thumb.jpeg.0bcdcb9f5364dc097b3e180ea7046c56.jpeg

H9 previously continued north east and joined Carden club trail 102. Am I correct in assuming there was a land owner dispute and the trail had to be rerouted?

  2. I’m hoping Tyler’s grandfather had a chat with Tyler about life. Then Tyler showed up the next day on time for his job interview and Blackstar hired him. Tyler’s been working hard for the last four days and goes home dog tired after each day. He shows up the next morning bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to take on any task that is asked of him….

they fixed the big wet spot with 3 culverts about a mile east of Hammer lake, a few weeks ago. we were there the day they received the groomer, and were going to fix it. we went up, to hunt for a bypass around it. I made the bypass, then the groomer fixed the washout. then the next 2 days, they made two grooming runs between snows (4 total passes), making the trail great from Dub to Hammer lake. now, the loggers want to haul on the road, and that kills that trail. I am really bummed for Jeremy and Cynthia at Fishing Moose Lodge on Hammer lake. they have not been able to open since before covid. imagine trying to make it in business, losing 5 or 6 months of business. Fishing Moose Lodge has a picture of you and your wife on their website. I just googled the lodge to find out more information about their accommodations.

  4. Ontario F7 and I launched from Birds Creek today, just north of Bancroft. 60C80413-1A66-4B97-97E2-E5ABF7C9D59A.thumb.jpeg.1c86f7561c2126377759196647cc0cd7.jpeg

Rode up trail 175 to Madawaska and stopped for fuel, and we ran into SKSMAN from the forum. FCFD6CB2-0E94-48D4-9B30-214462A7662B.thumb.jpeg.e8af25094ec446e8d6d7a6a9eb86421e.jpeg

Finished the day off with some fun on Baptiste Lake before heading back to the parking lot. It was a beautiful day for my first time riding in 2 years. Thank you OF7 for letting me ride your spare sled. 👍

  5. Nunz is our Polaris ambassador and will be able to guide you in the right direction. I recall him advising another member on the forum to contact Rickwards the Polaris dealer in Kearny. They might have a demo sled for you to ride.

  6. Update: the single lane roundabout is complete. I’m sure tractor trailer drivers hate it, but it definitely helps traffic move through the area. The snowmobile trail 103 has been marked/signed and is ready for the snow to fall. The trail crosses hwy 12 just south of the roundabout and then crosses hwy 169 east of the roundabout.
