He has a proctologist's appointment!
His favourite excuse is that "he got some bad shrimp". "Feeling sick buddy". "Mama says I better stay home and rest."

Thanks for the heads up PLC. I have only booked tomorrow night in Timmins. Better get on at least Wednesday night. Hard to book when I can't get the number riders or how long we are way for. Got a group that I compared to old ladies, and rounding them up is like hearding cats.
Woodzi going? Haha!

I think building sleds for Yamaha and atvs for Tracker/Bass Pro is what Textrons business plan is for AC in the future.

Hard to believe how much snow has melted in the last 12 hours. I would say that the seaon is done everywhere south of North Bay. Next week is even warmer than this week.

I predict BNGs.

Polaris is currently #2 in a weak 4 horse field. If they are serious about market share they need a 4 stroke presence. Last Thursday at a full Tata Chika Pika Lodge (Gogama), there were 12 sleds there: our two 900 Aces and 10 900 Ace Turbos from Vermont. All different models, but all 900 4-T. Four strokes aren't for everybody, but an increasing number of riders are heading there. Adapt or die!
When I did my Gaspe ride a couple of weeks ago, I was blown away with the amount of new 900Ts that I saw on the trail. I guarantee of all the "new" sleds (any brand) that I saw, at least 1/3 of them were 900T. They have been a huge home run for BRP.

Next time take a three week trip for us ok! Looks like that is case. March break use to be steller in mitchell area going back 15 years ago. Use to get to end of March most times.
Yup. The one week that there were trails to ride from my house I was sitting on a beach. 2020/21 may be the season I dont buy an ontario permit. I have about 2000kms on in Quebec and have at least 2 more weekends booked there.

If the guys in Southern Ontario are lucky, they may get out for a rip this weekend but by the looks of the 14 day its over south of Muskoka.

Thanks guys. Weny through twice Sat and it was froze over. Was a mess last week, we through 6 times, bigger each time. Off to Timmins this weekend, sadly I think we're done here in the South this year. Oh well, best year we've had in the last 3-4.
To think that this has been the best down south in the last 3-4 years is pretty depressing. I havent even ridden in Ontario this year.

I am sitting in Dominican right now reading these posts and am pretty bummed out as I know the trails will probably be pooched when I get home next week.

How much snow is in your area now? We are thin but things look much better above line 86. Seaforth all closed no snow near lake I assume?
Its rideable here - head towards Listowel though.

Of course we actually have trails and wifey has us booked to fly out on Sat to the D-R for a week. Guaranteed, the snow will be gone when we get back.

Sad. It was a 14yr old girl. I went to High School with her mom.

I am a Realtor and have access to the land registry data and there is a patch of the west trail that is owned by OPG. I am sure that is the reason for the closure. Everything else is Crown Land. OPG, Hydro and the railway are the only "owners" of land in that area.

I am pretty much an exclusive Quebec Rider now and when planning trips there I generally dont want to commit to more than 250kms a day. I just cant get the miles on in a day in Quebec as I can in Northern Ontario.

In Mid April I think you have to look at Mont Valin.

Yah, no kidding. For me personally, once i loose my ability to head north, i am done with sledding. Right now, i am only in it, because Mrs. Turbo Doo and myself enjoy the north SOOOO much. If we ride from home, great, bonus, if not, oh well. I am frustrated with the weather, like the rest of us are..
Same here. I fortunate enough to be able to afford to take multiple trips to Northern Ontario and Quebec every year. The second that things slow down business-wise the first thing to go will be my sleds.

Raining/pretty mild in Stratford/Mitchell. We were only a nice 5-10cm dump away from opening up down here and now 80% of the snow is gone.

thats the same problem I had. there is another code that goes in front of the transaction # .

I submitted mine online and it said it was accepted. I did have a bit of a brain cramp entering the number on the permit into their system but got it sorted out.

I am booked in on Friday night. Going to ride over to Amos on Sat and then back to Ville Marie on Sunday.
-
I am staying at the Amosphere on Sat night if anyone wants to introduce themselves. I am on my Gade 850 XRS and my buddy has a 900T XRS..

We often stay at the Motel Louise. Not fancy but a decent restaurant attached and they are pretty good to let us leave the truck in their yard.

NEW LISKEARD

I left New Liskeard this am. The trails are OK around there. There is quite a bit more snow once you get to Earlton. The trails from Elk Lake to timmins are mint.
