Wow on a swamp. I know once, I had to stop and move trees out of area the beavers left in way. If you went too far off trail you break thru the ice on beaver pond. I had one foot almost go thru cleaning trail up.

I did.
Thought I try quote idea..

We had lunch there in the early summer late spring.
Food was better than I remembered in the past. All new staff and management .
Looked like lots of improvement over years ago..
I would go for it.
Trail groomed right to the parking lot.

A large group of us have rooms booked in the French River area for next week.
Our concern is that the trails in that area will not survive the warm temperatures predicted for this Sunday. We can cancel up to tomorrow without being charged for the rooms.
Do you think the base is good enough in the French River area to withstand the warm weather for a day?
thanks
brian
Freinds that live in the French river trailers to Elliott lake this week.
Little more driving can save you a lot of grief..

We stayed at Valentine Farms. Their son is a fireman in London and took 6 weeks off this winter to look after the place. He was the one telling me that they are basically out of business with the trail closure and now HH closed. Sounds like the dad is in pretty rough shape. We never saw them at all.
That being said, it was a fun spot. $60/person cash. Not fancy but did the trick and our entire group could sit around and watch the hockey game on TV.
They are great people.
Ross and Frenda. Forget the sons name but have met in the past..
Hope the best for all of them.
Just shows what link in trail can do to affect many lives..

The grader I saw a picture of last fall held antique status and was only equipped with the road grading blade. There was no wing harness on it. If they were trying to use it as it was in the picture, I can't imagine how it would ever get through that much snow let alone move it off the road.
I hope they can get something figured out so that it can open again in the future.
A few years ago when we were there. The wing fell off. Over a bank I was told. Asked if they wanted help to get it out. Deal with it in the spring was the answer..
Hopefully it ca stay open in the future.
Puts a dim light on snowmobile tours in my mind...

Ferris never made it. Ordered in October 2020. I was able to get similar model from dealer B, they had a cancelled order. It had 61”
deck not 52”. Ferris didn’t send out any 52’s into ontario this past season. 61 worked out better for me anyways. Very happy to get it. 😎 Only paid about 700 too much, but what can you do. Still
managed 75 hours before season ended. It was 50 percent faster then tractor on average. 😎
zero trim too which is fantastic. Nothing gets closer to obstacles then a zero turn 😎
You never mentioned that before did you..
Sounds like band camp...
