Whatever we spring order this year, for MY23 will have Smart Shox.  I'm actually finding the Mach pulls incredibly harder then my 2022 XRS 900 Turbo R does. Considering the only real change is the clutching between the 2. Both pull 8000rpm and over. Once I get the Mach to the NCDN,  I'll know more.😎. I know ill have to really twist @Evil arm really hard to take it for a 'run'...LMFAO.

Ha ha!  Throw the BRP GO App on and hold it to the bar.  I’d like to see how the Mach Z pulls on top end.

lol. no 4 stroke unless I get a huge deal on one. and no new sled for me. Depreciation is a 4 letter word. I may or may not pick up a used 2021-2020 XRS 850 renegade with warranty in August when prices will be low. But I could care less. My sled now only has 5000km runs great so no need.

No thread derail but people need to think long term.

I have a gently used 2016 skidoo 1200 X. Woman driven for you.

Yup been North and Quebec (albeit that was a shorter trip). Not my thing. Never been a mile chaser just so I can say I got 8000 km on this year. I much prefer a 150 km day where I need to work the sled on the trails. I did 1700 in Muskoka this year. Most of it I was tired sore by the end of the day (probably getting old).

Never liked big huge fast trails where there really is no technical riding. I like tight fast trails that I need to move around on just to keep a nice pace. I don't want a big heavy 4 stroke that is great for Northern fast trails Just so I can say I did 1000 miles an hour for 30 minutes. I like light 2 strokes that I can throw around when that trail gets bumpy and tight.  I suspect if I was younger I would be a flat brimmed long track trying to find powder and jump stuff kind of rider but those days have passed me by.

I have never like trailering and driving long distances to sled, Id rather ride than sit in a truck for 6-10 hours there and back. Its not worth it to me.

Where we are there is always snow and I can leave on a long trip every winter (depending on timing).  Im just as happy riding Muskoka, North Bay, Parry sound area and sitting down at my own place at the end of the day with people I sled with and Neighbours at the cottage.

To each his own and I'm not knocking anyone's preferences just stating my own.

Why do I feel like you’re talking about me!  LOL

There was quite a bit of moose activity on the east side of the L129 the other week. Had seen their tracks back in '18 when the gang rode it.

Any idea why they is a Hanta Loop sign on the L123 east of the Kap' River?

    No idea.

Ontario F7 and I rode with Techdenis007 and his GF from Hearst to Hornpayne, and back. We met 1049 and his wife at the moose land warm up shack. It was another beautiful day riding with amazing people from this forum.

Good seeing you guys at Della-Pieta!

Talking with the OPP last weekend they strongly suggested using the garage as they have been investigating numerous sled thefts in Hearst . As he said for 12$ why not . I had the oldest sled in the barn that night I'm sure l could have left it on the sidewalk with the key  and no one would have touched it.

I left my key in my sled overnight a couple of weeks ago at the Super 8  and we left the hotel for most of the night.  (not on purpose) but she was still there in the morning!

Does the Comfort Inn have trailer parking area TD?

not too much.  It's very tight for parking there.  Not sure if they would allow to leave trucks and trailers after you check out.

Does anyone know if the L138 in Kap that is showing red is passable??  I planned on staying at the Super 8 that is at the end of that trail.  Also any suggestions for other places to stay that they prefer over the super 8?

No issues at all. Trail is fine.

Talking to @irREVerent today & we were discussing meals. Probably will do take out in Kap' seeing as I'll have my truck there & Papa Franco's is a 2 minute walk. Has anything gone in where Casey's used to be?

Now for the self-promotion part of my post.

Also, if anyone is going to be in the area & had considered buying a 'watch' off me, I'll have a few on hand for on trail delivery. PM me for info.

Not sure if you are looking for a place to stay in Hearst... We stayed last year at the Companion.. Heated Garage for the sleds and bar/restaurant on site.  5 minute walk to the LCBO.  We enjoyed our night there.  As sor the trails.. I absolutely loved L123 & L125 in Kap.

Add the L155 to the list! Definitely 3 of my favourites!
