Was at my Cat Dealer yesterday, and their price on a leftover '19 T-Cat with iAct was virtually the same as Spring Checking a '20 identical sled after all the incentives. Now....why buy a '19 when you can buy a '20 unless there's an insurance difference.

Is it doable in a Day? ITG says ~400kms. Just wondering what the trails like?

If Cat is coming out with an 880 2 stroke with 185hp named the "Riot", then you can surely bet that Yammy will also have an 880 2 stroke with 185hp and they'll probably have a snakes name on it Same as iAct on the '19 Cats....Yammy has iQs.

My buddy and I use the SENA 20s and yeah, we've had some issues, but overall they're not bad. Whoever is leading warns of other sleds and/or groomers coming, and they're really good at announcing needed pee stops. Ha!! Battery is usually good for the day. (300kms - 9am-5pm) and Range varies. Long power lines/railbeds/open trails = good reception. Tight, Twisty, Hilly trails = hit & miss Reception.

The Trail out of those hotels is the worst trail I've ever been on in Ontario. Apparently they can't get a groomer down there.

$3.99 a year for what we're getting....I'll pay it no problem. One thing they should do, is link it to your Permit and give you a Password so you can only get the App if you have a Pass. One time use only. Same guys that bitch about the $3.99 are the same guys paying $10 for Monster Stickers at the TO Show where they paid $15 to get in.....

You drove the road and saw the rail line, or rode your sled from Kinmount to Hali?

Imagine if everyone that was at the TO Powersports show took 1-2 days a year to volunteer??? I realize some people "can't" help for various reasona, but there's a large amount of people who "won't" help, and come time to ride, they bitch and complain about the trails.

Birchpoint, Cedar Springs and the CAT Dealer in Bancroft all have closed/lost their CAT dealerships too.

Moonlight gets my vote, but.....that trail out of there is ALWAYS one of the crappiest trails in all of ON. It's usually a 30min ride filled with 3'-4' whoops. I don't think that trail ever sees a Groomer. If the club that owns that trail figures out how to keep it groomed, Suds would be ranked right up there with the rest of Northern On. Trails there are awesome, and the Wolf, Moose, Chinuchi (sp) loops are second to none, but that trail outta town shouldn't even recognized as an OFSC trail.

Stay in NB and run into QC from there. That trail from ON to QC is awesome...when it's groomed up!!

I bought an FXR FAST suit 2 winters ago, and it is the warmest suit I've ever had. I wear a layer of the "Dri-Wear" from Marks Work Warehouse underneath, and I'm never cold. We run all day long on the "big trails" in -20 to -35c at speed and there' s no issues. I have the bib pants, and when it's warm, I take out the liner and open vents accordingly. Would highly recommend one. Best time to buy is at a Royal "No Tax" sale or the first day of the Sled Show in T.O.

My 2 cents on this.... I've been a loyal Yammy guy for over 10yrs having 7 sleds since then. After that release on Tuesday, I look at what they're offering, and I can't help think that I'll be in a Cat Dealership ordering a '19 T-Cat or ZR9000. Yamaha only offers the new I-Act suspension on the Limited, which is a crappy color combo IMO. They're regular season selection isn't much better. Cat offers much more on all of their sleds, as well as they have a few color options to chose from. I'll still have the Yammy reliability under the hood, but the decals are gonna have a big pussy on them, not a tuning fork.

We've rode up North 3x in the last year, and all mid week riding. If you stay off of the A trail, you'll be fine. Everyone seems to ride the A and no one ventures off of it. Cochrane is the place to stay. You can loop to Timmins, the Canyon (The East is the best part), Kap and back, and theres nice riding for a few hours around town. We did New Liskeard last week, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! Looped to Temagami and back, Kirkland Lake and back, and even stretched it over to Shining Tree and back. Now...all that being said...we're headed to K-Bec next week for the very first time, and we're really looking forward to the experience!

His motor didn’t blow, his track blew apart at the finish line. He was doing 174.5mph. He’s a friend of mine. He was taken to the hospital and he’s got 3 broken ribs and a cut on his arm. Very lucky guy!! His sled is totaled. He’s got the current world record for fastest Naturally Aspirated motor at 178.3.

Anyone been there lately? Wondeirng if they’ve had the rain/warm up? Any suggestions on sites for that area on updated conditions.
