Garfield
Sort of new to the area and trying to figure from the online map but cannot seem to zoom in ... is there any way to get from Riverdale Rd and Peninsula Rd to the trail which I beleive starts in Minnet without running lake or Peninsula Rd ? Riverdale is just south of the bridge between Joseph and Rosseau near Pride of Rosseau Marina...Thanks
Doonut
Truthfully, I never knew there was a "trail" that started in Minett Do you mean the bridge that crosses the Joseph river or the bridge in Port Sandfield?
Garfield
The bridge which crosses the Joe River...its been a few years but I recall a trail which was right behind the gas station/variety store in Minnet
Doonut
The bridge which crosses the Joe River...its been a few years but I recall a trail which was right behind the gas station/variety store in Minnet now that I think about it, I believe you are correct. A South Seguin Club trail. I domn't know of any way to get ther from RD besides road or ice though. I suppose you could make a ditch/forest trail. Wildbill
It is a West Muskoka Trail Riders trail . WMTR is a member of the PSSD . I believe they are always struggling with landowner issues on this section . They can be contacted off the PSSD site at
Garfield
Thanks guys...as far as riding goes its a tough spot to be, depending on the lakes and the road conditions you may have to trailer a very short distance to start riding. Oh well still a great area.
