Fred Quimby
As we are pretty much all sure of...the fat lady has sung. HCSA has closed all trails. This is probably it. There is no major snow in the two week window, so....there she goes! 6 weeks of open trails. Give or take a few days. Last year there was at least 11 weeks of good sledding. :curse:

kennyboy
Keep the faith Mr. Quimby! The Haliburton Forest is reporting 6" of new snow last night and that all of their trails are open and in good condition! Getting colder by the end of the week. We might get some more riding in yet! Fred Quimby
Looking at what I have spent this year in the HF...it seems like I have more KM's logged in there than on HCSA trails this year. They do have a pretty decent operation.
kennyboy
I'm worse off than you, I bought two new sleds this year...I think, all tallied-up, it cost me $20 km to ride this year!
Fred Quimby
Yep..you might have me beat. One new sled and a whopping amount of money spent on new suits, helmets, helmet cam, other assorted toys and upgrades. I am afraid to tally things up! Time to give em' a wash, wax and polish the tunnel up. With only 300 KM's logged since the break in service, I am not doing much in the way of mechanical maintenance. Maybe a good spray of Krown underneath.
