formulaz
Whats up with Aylmer trails, does anyone know why they are still closed? The trails have loads of snow coverage and are the best I have seen in years, yet still closed on the ofsc website. Also, I dont see any connector trail to the St Thomas Club this year, did Aylmer decide it was too much work? Mark
IndySKS
Lets see if I can put this politically correct..... The Aylmer Club requires an inspection of their signage by District auditors before they are allowed to open.....enough said. The good news is there is an audit team heading there first thing tomorrow morning....if all goes well they will be open by late afternoon. formulaz
Thanks for the quick response Indy, has the team been busy or did Aylmer just wait until the last minute? Either way, hopefully things will be good tomorrow.
IndySKS
The Club requested that a club member ride along on the audit and tomorrow was the first day that this has been possible. They were ready to open last week but no one could do the riding.
cruiser
Mark, the connector trail was moved from last year moved one concession north to Sparta Line from Jamestown line. It is there and connects to the Elgin Trail riders trails and goes to Dutton/Glencoe. From your last post I see you found it.
formulaz
Dave, Ya I found the trail, it connected closer to Aylmer. Its alot nicer trail than last years route. It could use a few improvements on the road sections but all in all its a nice trail.
