skidoo700jay Posted March 19, 2008 Share Posted March 19, 2008 Wondering if anyone had info on the trails up this area...last weekend the sun did some major damage on the roads - so getting to some of the trails were tough....the lakes were all slush...might be finished for the season in this area?? 600 XC Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 Not by a long shot S7J. We were out on the ADSC trails over the Easter weekend & found them in great shape. Some lakes (Sand Lk) had very little snow but Hassard Lk in Kearney was perfect. You're right about the roads though, although trail 303 just south of Pickerel lake has a section of road that has a groomed trail right down the shoulder of it. I saw the groomer out on Monday the 24th & we also just got about 30cm of fresh snow last night.Should be some great riding in the Almaquin Highlands for a while yet.
