One thing though...I'm not sure the club should be advertising the gas station at the marina and the one on hawk lake.... They are NOT open during the week, only weekends. False advertising maybe?!?! If those gas stations are going to be advertised on the trails, maybe the hours of operation should be posted as well. It should also be taken off the maps, it leads to confusion and frustration for snowmobilers coming from away. Locals probably know this.. Hopefully the club listens and does something about this. It was a challenge to get the trails open with the snow we had but we finally did it and the volunteers worked hard! We will continue to work hard with signage and trail infrastructure improvements. There is a lot to do. We have a new bridge going in as we speak and a re route and trail upgrade going on in the Spring! Both of those gas stations paid to advertise on our maps and website etc. Unfortunately we can't control their hours of operation. I do know that up at Hawk lake if the owners are around they will come out to pump gas as they don't want to see anybody do without. It's places like this forum where we can all share the information about hours of operation etcetera. Often..a business will stay open if busy and close if it's slow..that tends to be how things work around here so even posting business hours can be misleading.
