I was in that area today. Didn’t see it.

Not sure how you feel about un groomed with moguls and brush everywhere. CHSC hasn’t groomed or cleaned any brush from Bannickburn to where it runs into Old Hastings territory about 20 km away.
It was rough for me just figured I give you a heads up. I rode from home to east side of memohisto I to the maze and back.

Out riding today. Glanced down @ the dream o meter a few times. There were a few sections where I was travelling @ a speed that I thought was comfortable/prudent for the trail and/or conditions. I was doing 35 to 40 kph. I thought 50 would be a struggle to keep a sled out of the trees. Saw a couple of offs near Harcourt, 1 was after a SLOW sign & before the arrow...
Some trails I wouldn’t dream of doing 50. Usually I’m just lugging along. Even in wide long trails/roads I rarely see above 80. I just feel comfortable around 60 on my old sled. I find I’m always letting other guys/gals by me as I’m not a fast driver by any means.

The looks of those Ski doos is slowly growing on me as well. I’d say 80 percent of sleds I see are Bombardier.

I rode all day today on my Polaris dealerships demo ride.
I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow.
I have a new cc 850 137 sitting in my shed right now, wonder what it will be tomorrow.
I’m liking those new Polaris sleds a lot. Give a review of that 850 when you get a chance. I have a buddy that has a brand new 850 ASSAULT and loves it.
Every year now for the past 4 I keep telling myself I need a newer sled but have a hard time pulling trigger. Love my old sled but I’m not getting any younger.
Also read the warranty on those new Patriot motors is 4 years?

Yes majority were right on trail. Some flew out of the bushes right in front of me but I was on going slow enough to avoid them. Never seen the feeding signs but saw a couple come right from a property beside the trail, so I assume he feeds them. I've seen coyotes through there but never a wolf, would like to see that as I havn't seen one since I was a kid along time ago in the bush.

Has to be on point tonight. Took a ride from home here in Marmora with the intent to run to Bancroft and back. Ran into Old HAstings groomer at St ola and turned around. The whole ride I had to be on high alert as the deer were moving along side the E/B106. Never seen so many in all my life in a 2 hour span, saw 22 in total.
The majority were Does and young ones but a few nice Bucks in there as well. Came close to hitting a few as they went nuts as the SRX approached.
The whole ride there and back not one other sled but also ran into CHSC groomer heading north at Robinson road. 22 deer, 2 groomers and no other sleds made for a nice ride.

No matter the reason, sad to loose a rider like that.
R.I.P.
Very unfortunate.

Too fast = the speed at which you can no longer keep the sled on your side of the trail..............period!!
X 1000. Stay on your side and don’t signal me last sled if you can’t keep it straight. Lift hands off bars and almost crash to indicate what you have no clue behind you is.

Couple years back on one way section in the Ganny, over a crest of a hill next thing I see, group parked taking up the entire trail having a chat n snacks. Slide to a stop, greeted by concerned do gooders yelling n screaming I could have killed someone, are you freakin kidding me? Was I riding the posted speed limit, no I was not. Same breath, who could ever imagine you'd come across a group of adults so completely and utterly clueless that they'd stop in a spot like that putting both themselves and me at risk. I'd hazzard to guess even at exactly the speed limit, antics involved to avoid hitting them would have presented as I'd been going too fast.
Saw that last year on a trail in Mazinaw. Group stopped over a hill, tried yo talk to them and they wanted to argue.

Thanks guys. I know there is parking around Kinmount. The area further north(HAppy Wanderers club) is there parking for there?

Unwritten rule. If it breaks while you’re riding it you pay to fix it. Regardless of How big or small the issue is.
YUp.
