  1. busy day on the trails that were open today, anyone know about accident involving two sleds on the B103 just west of Kinmount, thankfully both riders were walking around and appeared ok but a fair amount of damage to the sleds, the groomer operator was also on scene

    cheers

  2. we rode from Coe Hill on saturday, our destination was Whitney.... trails to Bancroft were OK, but north of Bancroft B106E trail was super-duper bumpy and was extremely busy, often there several sleds in line to cross a particular road, we turned around just north of birds creek, had lunch at the granite, then back south. Good shake down ride but much shorter than anticipated.

    cheers

I used to park on the first road on the right/east north of the Lakeridge Road/hwy 47 intersection. It's a dead end road and there is room to turn around at the end. We all parked on the north side so we didn't block it for the residents. Believe it is Ganton Road. Trail crosses the road right at Lakeridge Road.

Disclaimer. It's been four years since I lived out that way.

ive also parked on Ganton rd a couple of times

Just got back a while ago. Rail trail to Hali was good. Head lake was slushy on spots but staked, all good. Trail outta town was good, including the swamp and ditches to the B trail. B  intersection to Haliburton lake (old 10 North) was good ,except one nasty washout. I'll be as polite as I can, B from there to 601... well, the grooming may not have panned out as planned!! They will need alot of snow to fix what was done in there. The e from 601 to the 109 was excellent, will be trailering that way tomorrow, on the return the groomer was headed S/bound on the rail trail and it was turning out the best It's been in a while!

Looking at it right now.  Looks pretty decent. Any thoughts on when the trails in that area typically turn green?

Last season I rode from New Liskeard to Robyn Noranda Que. on the same free weekend, conditions were good & lakes were staked ... hoping for same conditions this year.

Really nice hotel.   Not inexpensive.    I have said it before but it borderlines on being "too nice" for a sled trip.

Ha ha ha ... I hear ya,... however I’ll have my bride with me, so guaranteed it won’t be too nice.. lol

    cheers
