  1. Thanks for info. One day it looks tough for that run, we did a 10 years ago from Owen Sound to Tobermory, stayed at Princess hotel over night and back to Owen Sound. Trail is twisty and narrow but we have a fun. Not sure if I will do it again, prefer straight wide Northern trails :)

Note that the driving time to Timmins is the same as driving to Cochrane, give or take a few mins (assumes using the 11). When we have staged out of Timmins, we stayed at the Super 8, and either parked behind the Casey's restaurant (permission seems to be up and down), or down by the back of the Super 8. Last year found out the Caseys is closed Sunday nights. I also see that the L27 is still showing as closed which makes getting to the Super 8 an issue. Also, which streets you can and can't snowmobile on to get around town is somewhat confusing.

I'd give some thought to just going to Cochrane.

Great suggestion I think I will do your way. Thanks A lot

When I opened the link that you provided, one of the first things I saw was the following Nicholas Cruise started this petition to Ofsc  (sorry for font size). If this petition is being sent to the OFSC as is indicated, it is a waste of time.

If the OFSC closes those particular trails tomorrow, they would be doing so because they have been ordered to do that by the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit. Therefore sending a petition to the OFSC is a waste of time and effort.

To have any chance of being effective the petition needs to be sent to Dr. Jim Chirico at the NBPS Health Unit who is the person that ordered the trails closed in the first place.  JMHO

Thanks, I saw it also, but my thoughts  is maybe if OFSC will have this petition in hands it helps to fight and prove necessity to keep snowmobile  trails open.
