Went across Mary lk on our way back from Mattawa on Wed and it was very slushy in spots if you got off the beaten path. Friday afternoon seen people out towards Rocky island ice fishing so has to be some depth to the ice but nothing like a lot of previous yrs.

Smith's gas station in Port Sydney, safe spot to leave a vehicle and a good spot to start the RAP from.

Talking to my trucker friend from NB last Thurs'. The worst situation in the area was the 1 apartment building in his opinion.
The worst situation in the area is Dr Cheerios himself.

Went from Port Sydney to Baysville and back plus a bit of d102b and 50 late Tues aft. They must have groomed Monday at some point as trails could not have been any better with very few sled tracks on them. Managed to get a quick 58 miles on to end the season unless i can talk my wife into going out this morning one last time.

I have only rode one a couple of times, but every time I did, I could believe the handling and comfort.....but could never bring myself to actually owning one....

I know everyone loved to hate on the Barneys but it was a great trail sled.
Still have an 07 barney that i won't part with just for the fact it is so comfy but no top end by any stretch of the imagination, but on the trails i usually have friends trying to keep up to the old slug. Also has just under 33000 miles on it.

Does anyone know why muskoka sno bombers trail #33 is closed to 3 mile lake?

Depending on the recent weather, that run can be bad.
Just drove that stretch in the truck and does not look good sled wise, will be taking the lake crossing later this aft for sure.
The lake still has not been staked but is well beat down with sled tracks, as for the thickness of the ice ???????????????

Hi everyone. As a rider from the GTA it's pretty depressing to see many trails open up. I totally understand the government restricting movement and the policy of the OFSC to ride in your own area. BUT is this really happening? We have no local trails here in our area. If the lockdown continues the OFSC should refund each permit holder who resides in the Gta the full amount of their permit. Ive tried to get some info from them on this to no avail. I am reluctant to head north for the day but worry about the risk of potential fines. Has any body heard of people getting ticketed of turned back by local law enforcement? Its really difficult to watch public officials , NHL hockey players and the alike bend the rules and have special exemptions for travel with no reprecussions when an issue arises. We enjoy travellening north. We contribute to the local economies where we ride. I dont think coming up to ride for the day is a health risk if it's done following the guidelines. Your thoughts are welcome. Thanks1
It is not full on nazi Canada as of yet, so load up the sled and go north for a ride just avoid the Parry Sound/ North Bay PHU.

Yes but the 1 article had 'residents' complaining that they saw 'out of town' snowmobilers there...
How would they know the snowmobilers are from out of town?

Just noticed your 'handle'. Must have missed the second "r" in the past. Do you, or did you own one of these rare bikes?
Owned/own 2, i sold 1 about 10 years ago, and the 1 i have right now only has 5700kms on it and sits behind the bar in the garage.
