Before you get started on this season, remove the wheels and take off that decorative cap in the center. If not, you will have to remove the wheels anyway to access the easylube grease nipple. Saves some time and less of a disincentive to get it done. You may already have done this...;)

So your saying the wheels have to be off to remove the center cap, and with cap removed you can grease the bearings. If I leave center caps on, I have to remove wheels everytime to grease bearings.

Ramp door,  side door, 15" radial tires on aluminum rims. Price was $6392  for chrome version, none in stock or $6596 for blacked out version.Got the last blacked out one in stock.

Picked up new Polaris 850 SKS 146 IN Hearst this week. Had to make a delivery first in Cochrane which was equal to 2 sleds and then just my new sled back home. Was driving an F250 6.7L diesel with 26ft trailer. Had to drive for a 300km in 4x4 due to road conditions. As in picture averaged 17.4L/100 over 2200km from near London to Hearst and back and included idle time while eating meals since eating in wasn't allowed. Power to go, to pass any vehicle or accelerate up any hill.

Anyone know how rail line from Fenelon north is now?

looking to possibly go in the morning.

Was there today. Thought it might be last chance before the new lockdown. From Superior Propane to a mile past Burnt River was brown . From there to Kinmount was ok. A mile north of Kinmount was some dirt, the rest of the way to Haliburton was good. Went through the Pinery on way back. 340 was ok, 342 was rough and rocky. 330 to Coboconk was the same. Turned around after a mile.

How come groups of five can gather? The rules are convoluted and confusing. I am pretty sure they will be nailing people for traveling. Fascism is here. Be careful what you ask for. The power has clearly gone to their heads.

I heard it took them five days of discussion to come up with these confusing rules.

Scotty, part of the confusion is that the English version of the FCMQ website has not been updated. I also applied for the OpenHouse permit last night and the dates still show Jan 16/17.

I just printed one. Original date is crossed off and says rescheduled for February 27-28, 2021.

I just found it on government site. No non essential travel. I guess when the cop pulls me over I am moving north to live. On my way back, due to a conflict with new landlord I am returning to prior residence. I will not be denied my sledding.

If there is no non-essential travel, why are non-essential businesses still allowed to be open.

In this state of emergency, there is a stay at home order for the exception of going to an essential job, grocery store, pharmacy etc...   Tough to prove that you are doing any of that in New Liskeard with a 24ft sled trailer on the back when you live in Waterloo.     You will be in contravention of the Order.

You can leave your home to excercise. I'm trailering to my excercise spot.

So can you be outside or not? That is a question. If yes, I see no difference between  walk, bicycle or snowmobile...

It says snowmobiling can stay open. It also says you can leave home to exercise and snowmobiling is considered exercise. These rules are so confusing.

It held up as long as it could, we actually trailered Friday and Saturday to ride the Paudash E because we knew it would be crazy here. Kinmount lot was rammed by 9am Saturday. We didn't ride yesterday, trail was in bad shape (ridden out) Not worth the drive until we get more snow.

Thanks Livin'. Rode from Fenelon Falls to Harcourt on Saturday. Rail trail was better than I thought it would be. The B103 north of Head Lake and the B were rough and lots of rocks. The E was in good shape, more snow at the higher elevations.

The water in Scugog make people do some odd things....:crazy_grn:

If cannot remove it, cut it off or hammer it further in......at least put a pylon over it in the mean time.

Seen on a facebook post that it has been cut off.

Just got back a while ago. Rail trail to Hali was good. Head lake was slushy on spots but staked, all good. Trail outta town was good, including the swamp and ditches to the B trail. B  intersection to Haliburton lake (old 10 North) was good ,except one nasty washout. I'll be as polite as I can, B from there to 601... well, the grooming may not have panned out as planned!! They will need alot of snow to fix what was done in there. The e from 601 to the 109 was excellent, will be trailering that way tomorrow, on the return the groomer was headed S/bound on the rail trail and it was turning out the best It's been in a while!

I see the trail from  Lindsay to Bancroft has been yellow since last Saturday.  Has anyone been out or know if it is worth a ride?

    TIA

Hoping to go  wednesday . Let us know what tuesday was

Rode from Superior Propane to Haliburton and back. Was groomed from Kinmount to Haliburton. Its in good shape. South of Burnt River is lots of brown. Was still rideable. Ran into groomer on the B104 on way back. The Pinery is icy and getting bumpy. It was a nice ride. Head Lake is staked but still red on other side.

Rode it a number of times over the last few days.  Fenelon to Pinery was getting a bit thin.  Pinery was great, some corners getting icy.  Kinmount north to Haliburton had better snow but was getting lots of stutters.

I'm local to the area, and have enjoyed riding the area for a long time.  This year was a first that I was able to take my full family out, my newly licensed 12 yr old and 14 yr old riding on their own.  I must say, that despite the large amount of sleds, that I was very impressed with the number of sleds staying right, signaling and keeping their speeds reasonable.  I'm no slow rider, but I didn't see any ridiculously fast or painfully slow groups.  Most importantly, everyone staying right.  Well done.

    Thanks for update.
