Here is the North Warm-up Shack on the D trail from Searchmont to Wawa.

This is the first year that this shack has even been known to sledders for 20 years now as the trail actually misses it by 100 meters these days. But all fixed up and .. must be a sign or sumpthing to say that it is there.

    Chum said GAS heater! :o

This is on the hydro, just off the Cross-Over road, aboot 30 klicks ESE of the Anjigami sub-station.

    No description available.

We just went by there on Monday going from Dubreuilville to Chapleau

  4. Thanks to amazing operators and a grooming marathon on Saturday and Sunday, we are glad to open the D108A North of Hornepayne as limited. Still some branches to clear after grooming and needs another pass.
Next is South to Dubreuilville in the next few days.
Please refer to OFSC ITG for trail updates.

  5. Notice to those wanting to do the big loop. Unfortunately our club is awaiting a groomer. We had an unfortunate incident on Jan 8th when our only groomer suffered significant damage. Fortunately our volunteers were rescued without injuries. Everyone is suffering, especially the businesses that rely on the HIGHWAY to be available from town to town. Please do not call me with updates on when we will open. Call 1-705-335-2110 Dist15 office# to voice your displeasure. In the meantime, trailer thru Hornepayne like the rest. Happy trailering

It is only a start, they are just packing with the Pisten Bully, not using the drag, at this time. we are going out, to check out a water spot over a bridge tomorrow, and going to Hawk, for a Big Bear Burger. Ski

That’s what I thought haven’t talked to Patrick for a few days to get a update. We are at my son’s cottage in Fugereville Quebec trails are starting to open but going to +9 tomorrow and back 0 on Saturday

Any sign of groomed trails in Dubreville or Wawa?

Packing has started in Dubreuilville, my grooming partner Norm has been out and has done Trail D west up to Hwy 519.  He also did the to the Magpie Reservoir.   Tomorrow he will will be doing D trail East to our warmup shack.   I was gone to  Sudbury and got back home today so hopping to be able to go out soon.  Lots of
    Snow out there.

Several of my group have ported over to this jacket. I use 1 version down. Can't say enough about the warmth, and even in the "Dub" cold; which we have ridden in.

    https://ca.fxrracing.com/products/m-adrenaline-jacket-20

You can sometimes find last season models on clearance, for about $200 less.

Thanks just checked on the FXR they don’t have my size I just ordered a Absolute zero on sale $535 with free shipping. Oh how I know Dub cold I’ve seen -46 lol

  9. Anyone have a Absolute Zero coat just wondering how warm they are ? I’m afraid my ten year old Yamaha coat is not going to cut it the G5 is definitely lacking in wind protection and I’m not sure if the medium windshield I ordered is going to show up .

  10. We have recently been notified that Halfway Haven will not be open for the 2023 Snowmobile Season. Rest assure for riders that we have been planning over the summer and fall for this possibility and do not anticipate any impact to our trails at this time. We remain hopeful that Halfway Haven will be back in future seasons and value their partnership over the years. We will provide more information as we get closer to the season. This is from the Algoma Snow Plan

HH is too unreliable to count on and the District is just trying to plan ahead under the assumption that it will be closed.    I would not suggest planning a trip up there this year based on HH being open.   I was there the day it closed last season.    Our trip would have been completely screwed if we were a day later.

We were there the day before you and yes we would been screwed also

  12. GREAT NEWS! Early word has it that TOP Trail D between Searchmont and Wawa should be open this winter because fuel will be available at Ontario's Algoma Country's iconic Halfway Haven. Groomers can roll and riders can fill their sleds & warm up inside, but probably no lodgings or hot meals,  maybe snacks.

Bring your popcorn, it is getting nasty on the Post. Sad to see the way things have gone this year and it appears to be the wrong way.

I just joined 705 Snowmobiles. Wow that was entertaining 😂😂

  14. I NEED TO SPEAK TO THE ADMIN OF THIS GROUP!!!🤬🤬🤬
CAN ADMINS OF THIS GROUP DO A BETTER JOB OF MONITORING WHO IS ALLOWED IN HERE PLEASE?! WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER, AN ELDERLY WOMAN. SHE'S BEEN PRIVATELY MESSAGING MEMBERS, SENDING THEM NAKED PICTURES OF HERSELF IN UNCOMPROMISING POSES ALONG WITH CLOSE UPS OF HER UNMENTIONABLES.  SHE IS OFFERING AN IPHONE 12 PRO MAX IN EXCHANGE FOR ONLINE SEXUAL FAVORS.  I AM ESPECIALLY BOTHERED BECAUSE IT TURNED OUT TO BE AN IPHONE 6 AND OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH IT.  IT'S SUPER SLOW AND THE CAPS LOCK IS STUCK ON. THANK YOU!
HOPE IT MADE YOU LAUGH HAPPY APRIL FOOLS GUYS AND GIRLS

I see that you've been running up those logs since the beginning of time.

Are you retired, or maybe you have a summer construction job?

    Or?

Farmer so yes I have time to ride lol. But really it was only two big days and 17 small ones the miles go on so easy in northern Ontario and Quebec .
