  1. Nice! You made the right call to cancel when you did. I was out with 6 friends the week before Family Day for 5 days of riding in Revelstoke & the conditions were horrible!!! We made the best of it with our fantastic guides.

  2. Men's small FXR Team FX coat with F.A.S.T. Was my son's coat but he outgrew last year. Posting here first if anyone is interested before I post on marketplace.

$175.00 obo and will ship at buyers expense or willing to meet within reason.  Small tear in front flap that has been repaired (see last picture).

Man, lots of complaining about pricing of sleds ( myself included ) - yet we are expecting these ridiculous annual advancements on machines used 2-3 months out of the year.

We are our own worst enemies as usual.

    You are correct!

  4. Lack luster release this year. I wasn't expecting anything huge, but thought they'd expand their turbo 850 to the XCR & maybe add a turbo 4 stroke but maybe that's for next year. I was originally thinking about snow checking this year but will wait another year.

Kleen Flo has a spray bomb product called Honey Goo. As the name suggests it sticks and stays. After 2-3 applications over a couple of seasons and given time for it to firm up before use, you won't have to do yearly coatings. It is a penetrating type product that goes on much thicker than Fluid Film . $11.99 at Canadian Tire and one can should do all the axle and steel mounts on a single axle trailer.

Thanks, I'll check it out as well.

I used the ski guides for the skis and barn mats up the middle - I would not use the barn mats again though, they are on the heavy side, I think I would try that lattice and I would use the low profile ski guides vs. the taller ones.

Highly recommend the superclamps to secure sled too.

Depending how the trailer comes prepped from the factory, if it does not have it, install plywood on the wall.

I will be installing superclamps in the trailer as well. A friend did barn mats as well & said they were very heavy.

  7. I have a new inline trailer coming soon & I'm debating on whether to have the dealer install caliber products in it before I take delivery or wait & do it myself. Just wondering if anyone has any input, the trailer is 7'x23' inline v-nose. If I install myself I'd save anywhere from $300-$600 depending on when I buy the products, how long does it take to install. I'm looking at all Caliber products, guides, trax mats, etc. Or does someone have another product they've used & had good results, this is my last trailer I'm planning on buying!

    Thanks

  8. On a plus note, my wife's 650 Indy Adventure arrived at the dealer last week with the recall completed at the factory. First one they've received that they can sell. So any sleds arriving here on out should have the fix completed.

I believe so yes, I suspect the dealer you got it from never switched the Vin number into your name though

I should be able to get that straightened out at the dealer I deal with now?

So no update on my XCR, but son is well past break on the VR1 now , at 21 hrs and 500km and not on a single Ofsc trail yet (ditch banging and concession roads).

Suspect this weekend with all the new snow some trails around kincardine and port Elgin will finally open up!

A friend of mine is picking up his 850 XCR (129") tomorrow, so it looks like they are starting to ship. Hopefully you'll get yours soon.

I have had with this sport after yesterday and today has finished me. Just so you guys know I have been invested  in this sport 29 years .grooming , club landowner rep, groomer coordinator, s.c s.a v.p. district v.p ,driver trainer and trail patrol.

But after working 60 hr  in four days ,I gave up 8 hours of my first day off to help train a new groomer operator and get trail prepared for opening. I was able to stop 12 sleds and informed them they were trespassing on closed trail all but four continued on and the four that turned around argued that the trail was open till we accessed the I.t.g.

If that was not bad enough today our groomer is out trying to open the top e102 that has run through my family's 100 acre property  for three generations.  While out on my own property for a walk I stopped several snowmobilers and informed them that they were riding closed trail and trespassing and are risking trails being closed.

But when I am TOLD TO F### OFF and GET THE F### off the trail  we will do what we want !!!

Iam at the point that I have waisted 30 years and at this point I am seriously considering closing down my property and selling my sleds.

Oh and don't say call the cops the local department does nothing and does not care just like the o.f.s.c.

Sorry this happened to you & thanks for all you do! As others have stated we hope you don't throw in the towel but understand if you do. Too bad the OPP can't be bothered in your area so I guess it's up to the sledding public. Pictures of the offenders would go a long way if not for the OPP but to be put on social media & if the individuals are identified it could go a long way to curbing this behavior if there is public backlash.

  12. I picked up a 350 Raptor & want to see about adding Nerf Bars to it to keep my son's feet up & out of harms way. I'm having a hard time finding any, does anyone here know of a good place to deal with for aftermarket parts for quads like this. Royal doesn't carry anything
