There a petition going around if anyone is interested in getting this guy ousted.

Anyone got the inside scoop on Chirico's intentions moving forward? If Dougy lifts the stay at home order in the North bay Parrysound district, is Chirico going to make good on his promise of opening up the OFSC trails when the stay at home order gets lifted?

Not always a great solution. Some places I’ve seen they plow the road now down to gravel and sleds are forced to ride this mess
We only plow as needed, in other words when it becomes somewhat impassable, not after every snow fall. After the first couple snowfalls there is a beaten path of ice and snow which doesn't go away till spring. The road is not part of the trail system so there is no impact on snowmobiling.

Did the Township require anything from your group in writing or was it just a verbal okay to go ahead. Did you make a formal request to Council and they approve it by Resolution.
I wouldn’t expect anything in writing but just wandering.
Great solution for everyone.
This was set up 15 or more years ago and don't remember all the details. As I remember, it was just a request made over the phone and a few days later they granted permission. The only stipulation was that we had to use a bonified snow removal company. We have not heard from the town since its been set up.

In our township (McDougall) we had to ask for permission from the town to plow our only summer maintained road. The road connects to the trail but is not part of it. Works out great for the 4 properties that use it. We also plow an extra parking area for property owners further down the road to park there trucks and trailers. Win win for all.

C Trail north of nine mile lake
in Main Clubhouse
Posted · Edited by kicker
There is a small section of the C trail just north of nine mile lake that is closed. Anybody here know why, bridge maybe? The reroute would be the 403 lake run. Its just odd how that little piece is closed.
