  1. I just got a Mission and wear glasses.  I have a graveyard of helmets in trying to solve the glasses issue over the years.  For the past 4 years had a motocross type helmet with prescription goggles - works well - unless super cold out.

Last week/weekend had the opportunity to use the Mission for the first time and it was bitterly cold out and first impressions were phenomenal.  I did have some fogging but would be solved with cracking the visor and it was relatively minor.  I think with more tinkering with the mouth/nose rubber piece I could get it perfect (one thing was when lowering the visor it would hit my glasses or press them too firmly into my face).  I did get the heated visor and had it plugged in so cannot comment on whether I actually needed that or not.

  2. Hey Nunz - how is the fitment of the Mission size wise - did you find that you had to go up/down a size?  I'm normally a Large in other helmets - debating on pulling the trigger as it seems like it may be a good solution for my glasses.  Looks like they have two shell sizes (S-L and XL and up) Currently my best set up ever is prescription goggles and helmet - although on really cold days not ideal.

  3. Agree on too risky to plan a trip.  Haven't been able to pull one off in the last 4 years even with a cottage right on a trail as the conditions never cooperated when we were there.  Subsequently we've just been heading to NB or further north for guaranteed better trails/conditions and leaving day trips out of the cottage when conditions are decent.  We used to do that trip every year for years.
