	Looking at popping over to Smith Falls, and doing a loop from Smith Falls down to Harrowsmith, North E114E and either back on the E to SF, or just back track for the first run of the season.
</p>

<p>
	Question is, this stretch thru town looks like it either sidewalk or road.
</p>

<p>
	Can anyone provide some guidance or confirmation that the stretch over the locks is road, and short or road and ends up being long?
</p>

<p>
	Thank you.

	The Buckhorn trails we have open are in very nice shape. Flat but you will hear a few carbide ticks from the Canadian Shield. The further south, the worse the ticks. The coming snow will alleviate that.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	We are going out tmo to finish brushing the 503 and hopefully stake most of the lakes. Mississauga Lake will not be one of them. Will have to do that another day. Should see some colour soon on the ITG.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Went for a ride today up to Harcourt via Gooderham and back via E/E108. Trails were good to excellent other than the 607(fair). There is a solution for the missing link between the 607 and the 606 but do so at your own risk.. Follow the 607(from the west) until you hit the boat launch at Billings Lake(can't miss it). Hop on the lake and look for the small island to the right. Stay to the right of the island and go to the boat launch at the end of Eureka Road.(There's lots of tracks as of today). Follow Eureka Road(approx 1km) to the end and turn right on to Glamor Lake Road.  Follow until the sharp right hand turn(approx 1 km) and look to the left. There is a trail there and it will take you to the 606(rail line). Decent snow on the roads today. Would suck on a warm sunny day tho.

<p>
	H9 previously continued north east and joined Carden club trail 102. Am I correct in assuming there was a land owner dispute and the trail had to be rerouted?

	An update on the closed trails.

<p>

<p>
	509.
</p>

<p>
	Lost a great longtime landowner south of Gooderham. They are building their home now. (may have seen this in another thread). We approached Highlands East for permission to use an unopened road allowance a few months ago. Slow process. They finally approved late Fri. We are hoping to get an excavator in there early this week to create a temporary trail for this year.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	503
</p>

<p>
	The lakes, Mississauga and Cold, and a couple of swamps have a thick layer of snow and then a few inches of slush and then, it seems so far, that there is 9"+ of good ice underneath. We need the slush to freeze up before we can open the trail.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	506 North of parking lot 2
</p>

<p>
	Will not be open this year. A new bridge is needed.

Last winter E208 was closed easting of Hastings even though snow conditions west of Hastings on the railbed were fine. I never did hear what the reason for the closure was. I see it is red tonight, is that due to snow levels or to keep riders out of the health unit? Trail is yellow west of the swing bridge.

	We have some open advertising spots on our mapboards. The spots are 1' x 2'. If anyone is a potential advertiser, the rate is $50 + HST per mapboard annually. Tentatively there will be ten (10) boards on the system this season. If a business were to buy ten 'spots', they would get a 10% discount ($450 + HST).

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	Crystal Images Studio in Harcourt is the vendor that should be contacted to produce the signage. The cost of the signage is between the advertiser(s) and the vendor. The club installs the signage.
