Been good to you then!
and ya, I will call you crazy - but I know there is a certain level of comfort on your own sled and discomfort on someone else's sled.....what did you find better on the 1200 vs. the 900T-R other than being yours that after that many km is set up for your style of riding?
Yeah it's a 2015 and had just over 4000 km on it when I got it the tail end of 2019/20 season. With a hole in my 600 lower end mid season, I had no choice but to either sit out the back end of the season or paid stupid covid money for it, which I did lol. At just over 24,000 now. Rebuilt the skid and new track last season, the only issue I've ever had with it was broke a secondary roller up in Kap 2 seasons ago, was able to limp into Raxfins and they took care of it on the spot. Used market is starting to look pretty sweet, if I can figure out what I want I'll likely grab something this season. To be honest I love the 1200 so much I'm tempted to just grab another, but a 17-18 low KM unit and swap my ECU, clutches, header, suitcase and track. Last season I tried my sons 25 Renny 900T out for a couple hours, call me crazy but I was happy to get back on my own sled for the rest of the day.
Yep, wants vs needs - when times get tough, and they will/have, having some wiggle room goes a long way.
When I see your pic I tend to wonder how your 1200 Doo is doing that has to be maybe 10 years old, especially knowing the miles you put on it - but sleds and all else are expensive.
