Yo!.......Magnetawan Guys!

Recommended Posts

Thank you and congratulations are in order for the hard working Magnetawan club. After our family rode the 706 and 711 trails twice last week-end we were discussing what a great job the club was doing. It wasn't that many years ago we avoided the Mag trails 'cause 706 was a cow path and frankly, their grooming as a whole was spotty. Although we live in Almaguin, we really appreciate the opportunity to day trip longer loops nearby. We realized last week that it's been a number of years since Mag trails have disappointed us at all. With the humongous traffic volume this year, that's more than we can say of Almaguin. For a small club this is a remarkable improvement.

You guys must be really proud of what you have accomplished. Whit's family says thank you!

Rode the 711 and the 706 this past weekend. Overall in decent shape. Thank you Magnetawan club. Apparently this guy really likes the 706 as well?

We think it may have been "WHAT HAPPENED TO WINTER?" out for a trail ride cause his boat is better than sledding.

That pic is too funny. I agree with Wild Bill on his guess.

Anyone know how the C104D is from Dunchurch to Sundridge? What's the yellow part of the trail near Sundridge? Headin' to Lake Bernard next weekend, from Nobel area.

Based out of Magnetewan last week. All trails in the area were great!

Thursday- 410 kms. Mag, to C trail up to the French River bridges. Back down via Port Loring. Whew!

Friday- south to Sprucedale,Kearny and looped back up.

Sat,- north to Port Loring via the lake trail which was in grat shape. Drove past 60 sleds at Jake's and people lined up the door.

Parked at Roxie's walked in and sat down to a great lunch. Then over to South River, Sundridge and back down to Ahmic Lake. That section was yellow then, but fine.

95% trails were in great shape and many were groomed overnight. The lakes were slushy off the stake line after the heavy snow, but not bad on the packed stake lines.

Miles of smiles!
