revrnd
The placement of the E107 bridge over Eels Creek was completed on Fri'. Talking to Terry Post the club president today. The MNR needs to do a final inspection & hopefully the club will be able to open the trail ASAP. The Bailey Bridge is 70' long & will eliminate the reroute on the West Eels Lake Road that we've had to deal w/ since 2010.
revrnd
The club has received the final inspection report from the MNR & its approval. With this, E107 will revert to a similiar route in years past. It will connect w/ TOP E southeast of Hwy 28. The reroute used between the area of the golf course and the Hwy 28 road crossing (south of the Eels Lake Road) will be closed.

Canuck
Congrats on a job well done. Seem to recall more "infrastructure spending" in the last Ontario budget, so keep an eye out for deadlines.

revrnd
Some of the trails went yellow yesterday and the E107 had been groomed to Apsley. W/ the warm weather today I hope folks stay off until the cold snap. We'll have a good base. TOP E is yellow and green to the railbed in Hastings County. Tessie11
Did the Paudash trails survive, and how do you think they will be for the weekend? Thanks
revrnd
I checked E107 today @ a couple of road crossings north of Apsley & the trail looked in good shape. However any road running on plowed roads may be treacherous (especially w/o studs) due to icy conditions.

revrnd
We ran up to Lake St. Peter Sat'. TOP E from the red outhouse north to the Peterson Rd was decent. South of the clubhouse to the Crowe R' bridge was good other than the plowed section for logging. The groomer was just heading out to do E107.
