Last Night at the Park to Park Annual General Meeting we reviewed briefly the engineering report on the Seguin Bridges 4 through 15 and authorized the Request for Proposal for repair of bridges 4 and 5 and the replacement of bridge 7 . This is the first step in process neccassary to upgrade these structures.

The engineering report was commisioned in order to proactively address these bridge issues . After recieving pricing from the RFP process the fundraising will commence . The contracts can only be let after the money is found . We are once again beginning this process early in the hopes of construction occurring in the summer months . Wish us luck

Hopefully things will fall into place & there won't be last minute "issues" like a couple of years ago.

HI Bill

Couldn't help but notice on the weekend that the new bridge is constructed using regular SPF lumber rather than wolmanized. Was this done for environmental or economic reasons.

Great job on the the bridge as sure is a lot safer now that it is straightened out.
