Faceman Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 IN A RECENT SURVEY CONDUCTED FOR CAA 98% OF ALL CANADIANS SAY "OH crap" BEFORE GOING IN THE DITCH ON A SLIPPERY ROAD. THE OTHER 2% ARE FROM THE BRUCE PENNISULA AND THEY SAY, "HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS crap.", (stolen and modified from a poster on HCS...ROFLMFAO...but it's so true) "North of the Checkerboard" is a local saying to identify the area north of Wiarton on the Bruce. Every area in rural Ontario has a "north of the checkerboard.
