Oggy Posted March 8 Posted March 8 We are planning on staying over in Val Dor in a couple weeks and we really don't want to stay at the Forestel. Has anyone tried other spots in town? Looks like Le Boreal and Hotel Althea are the close to the trail? Thanks Quote
1049 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 We stayed at Hotel Royal in Louivcourt 30 kms from Val-Dor last week rooms were decent 136 dollars. The restaurant is pretty good open at 6 am 1 Quote

Also they had a hot water issue they failed to notify us about and my room heater didn't work. The area lacks other services like fuel and food. There is a trail to get you into town to fuel up. I would like to try alternatives next time. 1 Quote
