If anyone is driving by and sees it, can you message me please. 519-276-1385 Quote

scottyr Posted February 19 Posted February 19 The bags aren’t cheap but my buddy is more upset as the combo of the bag and the items in it are over $500. Let me know if it’s still there. my cell is 519-276-1385 thanks! Quote

We have seen many times random things people have found and left in these shacks I assume in hopes the person return to collect what they lost - sure it could walk away, but I think most sledders are pretty good people! 2 hours ago, scottyr said: The bags aren’t cheap but my buddy is more upset as the combo of the bag and the items in it are over $500. Spiderman Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I had a buddy lose a wallet. A couple from BC ( visiting ) found it. Mailed it to him with a nice note - completely in-tact - nothing taken out of it. I remember thinking at that time there were still some good people out there. Sledders I would say are 99% in that category. 1% found my sled in the parking lot in Whitney on day 1 of our trip and stole everything out of my tunnel bag. I haven't left my tunnel bag on my sled when I go for lunch since that day Quote
scottyr Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I found a wallet at a boat launch in Marten River that had $2k in cash in it. Returned it to the guy as I found it. 3 Quote

Steve F6 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Great conditions all the way. Those 2 logging spots on 83 and 307 were short, snow covered. No linq bag, just 2 french guys eating a salami and cheese sandwich. 450ish kms. Amosphere for the night. 7 Quote
Steve F6 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Great sunny day returning to temis. On the way up we took 309 between la tulip and la force and it was good, coming back we tried the bottom 63 towards belleterre over to la tulipe and it was groomed but it had a crowned high spot in the center that was really annoying. Take 309 much better. Brutal drive north bay to port sydney. 2 days riding right around 900kms. Only one pic today. 4 Quote
scottyr Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I am going to try and that way next Thursday or Friday for a short rip. TWN is now calling for some snow after the warm up this weekend so the trails should be ok. We are going back on the 21st for a season ending ride as well. 2 Quote

My dad and I are going to push our weekend back til the 21st but I still may head up there on Friday, even by myself for a quickee ride. Never done a solo ride but I am not that worried about it. 1 Quote

My first saddle bag trip in this area this year and I noticed many Expedition sleds and riders hanging out at warmup shacks having a snack or lunch. So nice to have an amazing trail system at their back door to just go out for a leisurely ride and eat some food. 2 Quote
