Sksman Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 Anyone need old style jerry cans? All are clean inside and have been sitting in garage empty for awhile. Just cleaning out the cottage garage and without pulling a tube or running 3 sleds all weekend and burning 3-6 cans a weekend I don’t need so many. Quote
skidooboy Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 If they are clean, and dont take up much space, just keep them. You never know when you may need them for a generator, or to haul extra fuel, in a crisis. Ski Quote
Sksman Posted August 5, 2025 Author Posted August 5, 2025 I have about 8 others or so. Plus 4 diesel cans also. I would love to keep them all but running out of space. Free if anyone wants any. . 1 Quote
Spiderman Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Was just discussing with my father how much I dislike the new "non" vented cans vs. the old ones - esp. when large/heavy. 1 Quote

Just hard to find nozzles to pour that are flexible and last. Although I find myself using the brass ball siphon hose most of the time now. It’s about same time to pour as the new style cans. 1 Quote

I know they aren't mto certified, but cans are flawless and pour fast. Zero complaints after 3 years. Quote
