Kincardine to Gravenhurst

My 17 year old son and I did a small ride up for the night to see my parents .

didnt learn form last run NOT to take the b105 - and again really brutal.

Saturday seemed like a long day.

left 9:30am in at gas pump at gravenhurst 

6:09pm

today took a different route south to Orillia D/4/204- nicely groomed in am and some nice lake running (unexpected as yellow, but was fine). Crazy freezing rain and had to pull out the cord for the Mission helmet.

we both were pretty iced up.

left 9:00 home 5:29pm. Only stopped for gas twice and a coffee/tim sandwich.

 

think I’m done Southern Ontario trails for a while - looking forward to March break and Quebec.

The b105 is bombed out at the best of times this year for some reason.  I never really saw any grooming happening last week and over the weekend in Orillia.  My neighbors went out at 8 am on Saturday and made it from our house (on the 204 trail) to West Ridge in Orillia and turned around because it was so rough.
