Premium Fuel in Quebec - ethanol yes or no?

Taking my Poo in for the recall and wondering if I should get some of the anti static additive so I can run E free premium fuel.

 

Is the 10% ethanol a provincial or federal requirement now?

I tested all 91's and 93's fuel in my area. All has E now. Amounts vary but defiantly e in most of it now.

The reserve in my area still advertises that there is no ethanol in their premium fuel. I haven't had any issues with their fuel.

Maybe the same in Quebec.

I haven't had any problems with ethanol fuel. I use it in ten 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines as well as boat and vehicle.

There was a thread about this and the different rules that were followed in the various provinces, there were not all the same.

The wolf energy on 400 states their fuel is no E.

The stickers have changed at Wolf on the pump. No ethanol in the premium only

Somewhat of a recent change I think then.

I never had opportunity to test fuel there. I assume they made some sort of deal to carry non e fuel to boast sales. Maybe the supply is coming to an end shortly and they have no choice soon too?

I haven't either but some do. If you don't keep caps tight on your fuel cans it can pull in water and give you lots of trouble. E is good fuel it's storage that can be iffy. My mechanic says it's always same people having trouble with thier equipment.

My gas cans which fuel all the 2 & 4 stroke engines sit in an unheated garage with the caps always loose.

Isn't Wolf on the 400 extension on a reservation? Which is likely the reason they can carry E free fuel and not charge HST.

Not to be smart but is this serious request?

 

I have never had an issue running whatever is at the pumps   But I always run in ethanol mode also.

I am not sure if the real estate that it is on, right on the 400, is considered to be native land, but I am sure seeing as it is operated under the Indigenous umbrella, there are whole different set of rules. 

Whereas many of the native gas stations and places that sell smokes for example, are typically on land that is for sure native land, so for sure a different set of rules.
