More snow on the way Ski

Yep, two storms one starting today, then the Sunday blast. We are not going up until at least the 8th or 9th. 😪 But friends are up at our place right now. They rode to Hornepayne, for an over night. They said the trails were great. I am glad they did too, our power went out in Dub about 4pm, and still wasnt on at midnight. It was back on this morning. Ski

The melt is on, the big orange blast furnace will be taking it's toll on the snow pack in the next week. We are heading up in a few days to fish the last week of our walleye season. It ends the 14th. If you want to ride, you better get it in. The Big Bear in Hawk Junction will be closed for a few weeks, after today. I saw on the book of feces, a few people rode from Searchmont to Wawa and back over the last few days. There is riding but, towns will be a challenge. Ski

I read that last post in a way that I was expecting a pic, that seemed to not load.

I guess no pic intended....

Lots of melting Thursday through yesterday. Almost all snow in front yard (southern exposure) is gone. Trails were good except for thin spots and high spots exposed. 2-6" of water on the lakes and rivers by Saturday afternoon. We cleaned the truck, sleds, trailer yesterday from trailering out to fish Wednesday through Saturday. Had a great week of walleye fishing. Only kept 5 smaller fish all week. Lots of 24" plus fish released. Sunsets, moonrises, moonlit rides off the lakes were some of our best ever. We were able to eat at the West Pier Drive In, awesome food! And finished the season on the older kitty's, to give them some riding love. Ski
