November North-Westerly's.  No surprise as this is typical, and welcome news for Lake Effect snow!

Today's a good example contrasting the temperature difference between Sault Ste. Marie and the Snowbelt Region 90 Miles to the North.  November Snowmobiling is just around the corner.

I hear you, Ski!  My wife and I were in Traverse City on Monday.  82 Degrees!  Crazy.

On another note, last night's snow along highways 129 and 101 up here in Northern Ontario.

We are still 20 C how are you making out?

Looking good up here.  Temperatures are dropping below freezing at night.  Just waiting for a Jet Stream adjustment to get the North-Westerly's to blow in and we should be good for some fresh snow.

Sault Ste. Marie - Updates

Day 2 of snow has come-and-gone.  The immediate Sault Ste. Marie area is now at 25cms on the ground, a bit more just north of the city, but the snowband is narrow so far.  More snow is on the way. A few sleds have been out so far.

This is all great news but don't forget that we need cold cold cold to get those wet/low areas frozen solid so we can groom.  Ripping down logging roads is fun, but visitors to the area are going to look for groomed, and green, trails.
