Not seeing any good deals on a Patriot 9R XCR 129. 30g's after taxes is a little insane.

I seen a used one it was loaded and 136,7s etc wanted 20,000. Still had warranty until 2027, private sale. It disappeared pretty quick.

Your issue could be the power cord plugged into phone getting knocked around.  Was happening to my buddy.  Changed the way he put the phone and cord in and I believe it stopped.

But then he gave sled to his daughter, bought a Polaris with 7s and had no more issues!

That means you just need to get her something too so she don’t feel left out.

I love my Bluetooth and GPS gauge. When it works. Constantly shuts off and loses connectivity.

But when it works i love it. Would i care to save $1000.00  nope.

To me the skidoo Cell phone holder option works just as well.

14500 for a new sled is hard to say no to

I too really enjoy the ski Doo cell phone holder, generally plan my ride night before, then just need to plug it in my dash board and the way you go… also comes in handy if family are trying to reach out during a ride rather than digging out phone to ensure all is good on home front.

I like your thinking. Buy a cell phone holder. It just happens to come with a sled! 😁

I have found that you need a good quality cord to ensure a decent connection with BRP Go and the 10.25 screen.     Apparently not all cords are considered data transfer cords.     Some of the cheapies are really for charging only.     It pains me to pay for them but I only run an Apple cord to my sled.    The amazon knock offs stay in my car.

Thanks for bringing back many great memories. For my son and myself, we had a '92 Indy 400, a '93 Indy Trail and later a 96 (ugly hood that broke easily) Indy 500. Your group may have been considered Yahoos of the day, racing nose to tail though Muskoka and Haliburton in a chain of 6 or 7 Indys with an MXZ mixed in. Once dialled in, the little 400 could hang with 500 and 600 cc machines on those tight, twisty trails. Having that much fun now requires much higher speeds, which the more mature me, won't do.

Nice I had 1994 xcr 440. One of best sleds I have ever owned. Sold it at 14,400 miles original engine no rebuild 👌

Even with this snow, used sled prices seem to be falling.     I have seen some great deals on late model used Polaris' lately.    Makes me regret buying my 25 Assault even for the price I paid.

No regrets you got a great sled just ride it.

Yup!!! I don't need or want a different machine, but if I did I would want a new or used, '22 or newer 650 Polaris XC or VR1.  I keep spotting great deals on both used and non-current new sleds both 129 and 137.  It's driving me crazy.

The difference is that I haven't scratched my itch, and likely won't. It's not the motor, although both available Polaris engines are good; it is the Matryx chassis that really interests me. If the Poo had even a slightly more entertaining 4S motor, I would own one.

I bought two stroke kept 900 ace. Polaris chassis is made for a light weight motor. Four stroke version don't handle anything like 2 strokes do. 650 is a good choice.

I think thats pretty accurate.

There seems to be 650s everywhere.    My buddy just bought a brand new 25 XCR650 for $16600 a couple of days ago.

Polaris claims 140. But I feel I can't get it because you can't run it in 91 non e mode. Probabily only making 130 ish, since you are forced to set it at 87 octane fuel, if fuel has e in it. 🤷🏽‍♂️
