What’s the resale value in 2 years with CAT gone?

Not saying you would sell it or need to sell but is value really in that deal with Cat announcing shutdown?

All brands seem to be suffering  in real sale. As long as they continue to make parts all is well. I think they have to for an x mount of years but not sure under these circumstances.

I have so little confidence in the WE shocks that come on a VR1 that I would actually consider buying an XC with the 7S and putting ELKA stage 3-4s all around with the money saved.   

 

This set up would be a far better riding sled than a stock VR1.

I thought they are good shocks, not hearing allot of complaints? Brp doesn't put great shocks on allot of thier sleds either especially adrenaline and trail models etc.

I went and looked at the Murray Motor Sports website and they have a bunch of sleds going cheap on there.

There entire new inventory is like this. I bought a couple of sled off them, all new non-currents for about $4k off MSRP. No brainer then.  I feel for that dealer tho, they build a huge facility and brought on Yamaha. Now both are gone.  At least they're pretty diversified with everything else they sell but it must suck none the less.

That's why I got the XCR, I really like the hi-low shocks

for years they worked out of a little dump.

 

They sell Argo I believe.

 

And if Argo buys Cat?

I have a buddy who is very well connected within Arctic Cat and he just texted me and said that a deal in principle is done for a a Cat sale.    Its all in lawyers hands now.    Announcement will be made in the next few weeks.   He said he cant tell me who it is but its safe to say that its either Argo or CF.    He said they are trying their hardest to salvage MY26 sled production.
