2023 Kearney Food and Lodging update.

I have been delaying posting updates this year because resorts and restaurants are waiting to the trails are fully open to post changes in days and hours of operation.  Right now Pit Stop 518 has yurts fully winterized for rent and food available at any time for yurt guests even if restaurant is closed to public.  Pit stop has their restaurant open fri and sat 4 to 8 right now.  They seem willing to open the restaurant to large groups if you call a week or so ahead.   Legion is still thur to sat, Fork on Main (formerly Suds) is open 7 days a week and Edgewater is also open daily.   Lots of airbnb listings if you search on google.  Not sure what is going on out at Silver Sands,  Spicolli pizza is no more in Emsdale, however Yettis pizza up in burks falls has taken over the lease and will be opening mid January.   there is a new pizza place at the Katrine General Store, Big Doe Pizza and it is delicious as well.   I would advise calling ahead to see what is open in Kearney for food and lodging this year.   New people took over the variety store in Emsdale and they have an LCBO outlet and greatly increased hours.  Fetterleys garage has a new hardware store in the old mechanic repair bay area and lots of sled and other vehicle fluids and other odds and ends of hardware and tools.
