Snow event on the way? March 3-4

Was good to get some laps in around the property and down the road but I’d rather have it after all the waterholes are frozen.

Drove up to Parry Sound today and they sure did not get all that much snow - the drive up from North end of Barrie to just past Port Severn was nasty though.

On the way back, a truck with a sled trailer was pointing North in the South bound lanes I think between Forbes and Horse Shoe Valley Rd - not sure what all happened or if it he lost his load/sled, but trailer was empty when we passed him & I think he was waiting for an opening in the traffic to get turned back around.

I’m about 25km east of the town of Parry Sound and we got 14-16”, the winds were crazy on Saturday so I don’t think it set up the squalls as they were shifting with those strong winds.

I also came back down the 400 yesterday afternoon and it was certainly nasty one.

Not too bad.

We have more where we are.

Like an 8 year old - I still get my parents to send me a snow pic :)

There were some big swings in the areas that received the snow vs. places that did not receive all that much for sure.

My sister in Sauble Beach says they got around 3feet this weekend. Here in Kearney we might have 10 inches total on the ground .Big storm missed us.

Too bad so little. I'm up to Kearney this weekend to pickup the sled and trailer. 10" should be enough to zip around on the property at least (if I remember to bring the drive belts.)

I put 2 km this weekend.........................it was enough. You forget how fast a two stroke 850 is compared to a 1680 cc Harley.

Snow in Florida?

The new Canadian tractor trailer drivers find a good spot along Hwy 11 about every day in the winter.
