Going to O'Mavrik' (Luc's old quickie mart) will be painful by sled. Using the trail north of the fuel stop, and the "alley" between the trail and houses, will cut out a lot of dirty riding, to get to the hotel. A little grey up there today but, snow depths look decent. D west toward Hammer lake, and White River, and from Hornepayne to the river crossing at the Kabi, the D108A are not open yet. skidooboy Posted February 15, 2023 Author Share Posted February 15, 2023 All shoveled out in canada today, while 40+ and raining. Wasn't supposed to start snowing until after 3 or 4. Really started raining hard about noon, switched to sleet by 12:30, all snow and below freezing mark by 1:15. From 1:15pm to 4:00, dropped from about 25 to 5 degrees. It is windy as hell and almost zero Fahrenheit now at 5:00pm. 40 degree change in 5 hours, everything outside flash froze. Like a snow globe out there with the wind.
