that they would help, but this is my good riding suit.

We often get - I'd love to help out if only I had some time.

but, somehow you found the time to ride all day on barely passable trails???

Thank you for helping the club out. I wonder if the municipality would take that long if it was a bicycle club asking for approval.

Here in Kitchener there is a bicycle trail beside our Condo and in fact the City is converting our street to one-way next year so bicycle path can be separated from vehicle traffic.

Last Monday evening at the tail end of the big snowstorm the City had the snowblowers and trucks removing snow along the Bicycle path while many other higher priority streets remain untouched for several days thereafter. This bicycle path craze is costing millions and in our area there are only 5-6 bicycles per day using it.

They spent $30,000 on a fenced bicycle parking compound in the adjacent Kitchener Market underground garage and I drive by it daily and I only saw 2 bicycles total using it in over a year. Unbelievable throwing taxpayer $$ around like that.

Sorry , rant over!

A few years back our group 4 of us came across a good sized tree blocking the trail . As we struggled to move it ,enough to get by , 2 other guys pull up behind us . They crack open the Red Bulls and watch . We get our sleds past and put the tree back across the trail . I know it was a prick move , but felt right at the time .

Well was just told the landowner has permitted this trail to reopen.

Now let see if people will respect them.

I saw a yoot today in our area ( Baxter Trail Riders ). Current skidoo, pipes, no ownership sticker or licence plate that I could see, no trail permit. Wondered - how, why? On Top C trail. Sad.

Actually seeing more, and more of this.
