Sure seemed that way. We were playing on the lake and for march break there weren't many sleds going by. Even this morning in town i couldnt hear any sleds on the trail. In years past it'd be moguls and snirt by noon on march break. Maybe everyones in Florida.

Most have given up or are in Cochrane lol

Saw some pictures of westway parking lot the other day and it looks like a parking lot a lot further south…..minimal snow, ice and pavement.
Im sure trails are good though!

As we were driving east on 117 and looking at the snow by the road and trail d103b, I was expecting things to be much worse than they were and figured it’d be a shorter ride than it was.
As mentioned, maybe people are done - it’s been a roller coaster winter

If anyone is out in HGR area today on d103 clearwater lake stop in and say hi. Follow the trail when u see a huge skidoo banner! They'll be a whack of z120, and mxz 200's if you got kids with ya. I made a jump too. I'll have the fire rockin.

Took the princess for a ride today.
Trails from 830am until about noon were really good with some expected bad spots and roads were partial snow / scrape.
Than the snow started to turn very mushy, corners were pushing for sure, some were on wrong side, but traffic was real light and some more rocks poking through.
Trails were flat and nicely set up.
Fuel at MTH and lunch was boiler room.
Lakes are in great shape though, good for some high mph runs.

Both kids use them in their hand and feet, once they feel the need for them based on how cold the day is or their moods.

Usually feet/boots first, than maybe hands.

Actually it was only the last two rides this year the kids went on that they used them in their gloves, before it was strictly boots.

And we also use them when we go skiing, so they come in handy often throughout the winter.

Wife buys a big box of them from Costco that sit in the cupboard in the garage.

You should consider them when the boy gets older and outside with you, it can really turn things around when they start to feel the cold. They put off some good heat and so easy to pack and carry with you......and snacks of course too are a must!

I have them here. Everyone wastes them. If you seal them back in a plastic bag they can be reused. Smallest bag is ideal. Cuts oxygen off and stops reaction. Great tip for saving them for after lunch 😎

Parts of fergus were absolutely mint this morning. Managed to put on 90km.

hillsburgh, Dundalk, parts of Orangeville were very good yesterday. Wife and I did 190km and it was awesome! Plenty of snow out there! There are definitely some thin areas, but no biggie considering the winter we’ve had. I know a guy that went to Durham today and he said he’s never seen it so good!

Just got in from Dorset area, trails were great.  Lots of sleds out. Passed the groomer.

You come across 62 from K, I assume so, is 62 in same shape as 64 (good)….I recall seeing an intersection or two off 64 that were not looking good, but that might have been 11 or 16?

62 isn't nearly as good as 64, never is due to the terrain. Groomer was heading in that direction hoping it gets done.  64 was great!

I think the last time I was on 62 was when logging operation was going on, been a while and it was rough of course.

Last few time I came across from that side years ago as well was through some short cuts across stocking and slipper when there use to also be a trail at the east end of Kawagama.

64 been in great shape the last few runs, but when isn’t it!

I miss that trail on on east side of Kawagama, noticed some tracks heading that way but it's been  years since it's been open.  Tough to groom but also goes through private property. We have probably passed each other up here before

At the old outhouse I assume.
Used to be a nice trail, but steep in some spots.
No doubt we’ve crossed paths.

Any word on the section of 64 at the northeast of kawagama? Always a great trail and easy access to the 65-67 loops.

Road is plowed , that's why it's red. Too bad.

On the other hand did 240k yesterday,  Baysville, Dorset area.  Trails were great with the new snow. Road running was terrible but it is mid March

Did 30 miles last night fooling around on the lake and some little low lying areas.

Unfortunately - we are screwed getting to the trails because of the roads being bare.

I bet the trails are great - we just can't get there :(

Just got in from Tall Pines trails.  Best I've ever been on.  Not a single bump.  115k.  No road running was a bonus
