BRP G4 137" Sled fit in a 10ft Triton Clam Shell?

I was sure I saw a post dealing with this question earlier this season. I tried searching, no joy. The 136" Vector's 136 fit ok. But I understand that with how  much forward  G4 is over the front skis. the slope on the 10' clam shell may be an issue.

I was able to get my Venture 151 into a 10' clam, by building a ramp of sorts to get the ski tips right into the nose of the trailer.

The windshield is a medium height one and the roof would clear by about 3/4 of an inch.

However it is much easier since I got the 12' trailer

I have to remove the windshield on my 137's to get it to fit in a 10 ft trailer.

Do you have the medium height windshield and how do the windshields attach?

Thank you.

My buddy tried his in one. No go. Windshield had to come off. They took the 12 footer on the trip.  I think Ecarnell started a thread on this when he was in Cochrane at the end of the season

Its a snug fit no doubt. I put mine in a touch further than most maybe? Like the little extra tongue weight. Therefore windshields have to come off. - medium windshield.

The RAS X front end on a '21 sits a touch higher as well than that of earlier G4's.

Stopped by the dealer today and they loaded up a 21 REN X for me.  @Willy

Just as you and Usedtoskidoo say, fits (at least in my 10ft clam shell, which is a drive on drive off trailer (plates which mount the clam to the trailer appear modified).  Snug fit, but fits. Looks like I'll go the the Super Clamp Rear for the back end, but otherwise GTG. With the windshields coming off that easily, I'll get my son to sew up some bags for mine and my buddy's windshield when removed from the sled. 20210414_134109.thumb.jpg.bbb20f3dfaa17ac1631819112402426e.jpg

That's awesome. Good to hear.

Looks like you may have a touch more space than I do in mine? My trailer is a tilting clamshell (Triton elite) and you mentioned yours might be modified a touch.

We use our trailer very seldom anymore other than trying to go on a trip up north that never seems to work out. lol.

Is that a medium shield in those pics? Ours is different with mirrors mounted on the side curtains. pic1.thumb.jpg.7722fd11369ea5f560db882972538648.jpg

Stock low windshield on that sled. My read is that the Medium is 3 inches taller, so I'll buy the medium at this point.

Your clamshell mounted on the Triton flatbed and loading with a ramp would be much easier and better then a tilting clamshell.

After using a rear ramp hybrid and now inline trailers I would quit the sport before going back to a tilting clamshell.
