Just arrived in Kap 130 am Fri, now I guess. The comfort Inn is decent and you can park in front of your room. Damn that was a long drive.....

If possible , anyone riding cochrane tomorrow can they confirm if scratchers are needed or the little snow dusting Thursday/Friday will be enough to keep things cool?

I have one on my machine , but none in the 900 Ace - but may be able to steal one off my fathers machine if needed.

thanks in advance.

think you may be fine, got a decent snow on right now  prob already 1/2 to 3/4 inch on the ground.     just viewed from house windows have not been out on trail.

just went into a snow squall warning      and it is snowing big time

Snowing like a bugger in Kapuskasing this am. Darn near white out conditions.  Pictures do not do it justice

but it so nice to be in the restaurant    The beer and ribs just taste so much better

It is 550 meter walk along 2nd st from the Westway, so 7 min each way. We like the walk back after stuffing ourselves at JR.

If staying at Thrift Lodge or Westway   and want to go to JRs    Cab ?

I don't see where anyone answered your question other than TD. You can take a cab but we usually walk from Westway. Its a 8-10 minute walk max. Probably the same distance or less from Thriftlodge.
