How do the locals feel about the mandated trail closures? I understand the trails are still being groomed, but is it trespassing to ride on a trail a club considers open based on conditions, but closed on Crown lands by a health unit? scrummage
Six Star hasn’t opened any of their trails this year. Their Facebook page appears to be saying that they won’t open any trails this year even when the ban is lifted because it’s too hard to groom across health unit borders. Does anyone have better information? This doesn’t make sense?

cravesledding
Glad to see some common sense is allowing trails to open up in our area once again. Thank you to all our club members and volunteers for keeping trails in pristine shape and ready to go.

The young lady that got this done is our new external relations manager at the OFSC Kirsten Baker. She is known for working tirelessly to get the job done. Kirsten joined the OFSC from working for Scott Aitcheson our MP for Parry Sound Muskoka. The OFSC is lucky to have her. 2
