Turbo Doo Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 I had been seeing some other Oxygen Helmet owners post over on Dootalk.com about having their helmets wrapped. I liked some of the ideas. I tend not to be into this kinda stuff, but sitting around in covid lockdown kinda got me thinking a bit. Chatted with a local Gentleman that does vinyl stuff etc. He actually has done a few wraps on oxygen helmets. So he came up with this design for me. He is currently working on a design for Mrs. Turbo Doo, but has got the initial design done for mine. This being his first 2XL sized Oxygen Helmet, i think he has done a darn good job. Some pictures to share. We may do some tweaking of the design yet, as the wrap is easier to remove then it is to install. I will ask him, but i am pretty certain he has not. The oxygen has some serious curves, and its a pain in the ass to get everything perfect. He knew i was a bit OCD, going into this. revrnd Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 I like the graphics on the side Try finding a MX style helmet with graphics suitable for someone over 25. When I was looking @ the HJC models a couple of years ago (I'd had their's up to that point) I said no. Some stupid joker graphic seemed to be the common them across the board. Turbo Doo Posted February 7, 2021 Author Share Posted February 7, 2021 (edited) My wrap guy wanted to tweak a few sizing issues for my wrap and a few other things. Here is the final product. The wraps are very easy to remove. We both were not quite happy with the fitment etc on his first attempt, but now he has the template for both of the Oxygen Helmet Shell sizes. To answer your question, no, he has not done any as of yet. Love the idea of a wrap as it easy enough to remove or switch up and keep things fresh. I have another Mission helmet (my brothers who live in the US and won’t be riding this season) sitting at the house that your wrap guy could use to aid in the design of a wrap for one.
