Yesterday it was 'frigid' in Toronto, meanwhile the rest of us were riding or wishing we were...

I think everyone living in the GTA should have to spend a winter in northern Ontario or the Prairies. Then they might shut the heck up about 'how cold!' winter is in Toronto.

Its sad when we are at the point when -10 overnight temps are cold, and oh my god, the worlds ending weather forecasts over it being that cold at night.  .  :headbang:

I agree but the older I get and the more blood thinners the Daktari gives me, the less I can handle the cold.

Christmas 1968, we were riding our new Snow Cruiser on a beautiful sunny day with four feet of snow and -40 temperatures. No heated hand/thumb warmers in those days either.

Yes, but these are people half our age that are doing the complaining...

Lyndsey said tonight on CTV that colder temps & some unsettled weather is a week out. We'll see.

Ahhh, Lyndsey Morrison. Used to work at the TWN, then moved to the KW area, was on our local news as the weather,um , person. Also did a stint on our local radio station hosting some shows. Now in T.O.  No, not a stalker, a friend of a friend is her BFF.....

Seeing her with the update, makes it more plausible....

Try searching for Shannon Bradbury,  our new KW CTV Weather anchor,  who took over from Lyndsey,  who also came from TWN..........Also try Leighanne Evans from CTV Kitchener.  Yup...:right_on:

Side note....Maybe we should start a weather specialist thread?? :wtf:....

She was reporting nightly from her home in Stratford various times through the summer.

Speaking of downhill & staying w/ the winter theme:

Yup. News at noon Don Cameron. Voice of the Kitchener Rangers did the weather. Too funny what he used to say.  Dave MacDonald was something else. When he ran for public office they said he was a weather presenter.  He was and like so many others so.        Oh. Oh. It's gonna be so bad 2 to 5 cm are coming    the world is coming to an end

Ya the province is so big and there are so many trails that the volunteers look after. Just not enough time to get out with the short season with so many other things on the go. I know first world problems

No weather personality pics, but this sounds like good news:

Our low Sat' morning was -13* C (7* F), this morning -14*C (6* F)
