Barrie > Elmvale --- back (March 7th) - Current Trail Conditions?

The area just north of Barrie is one of the few 'green' spots close to GTA. Has anyone been there this week, after the rain and warm-up?

Just a day trip.

Barrie>Midhurst>Craighurst>Elmvale

C trail back south to Sno Voyageurs clubhouse parking.

Any local input is appreciated.

If you're out riding this weekend the club is having a BBQ on Saturday at the monument on C trail

There riding this afternoon. Trails are groomed great, no whoops almost anywhere. Snow is spotty tho. Lots of mud , road running sucks, they shouldn't be green at all. Although when it's good it's good, it's just spiratic. I'm trailering somewhere else tommorow. Goodluck

Agreed re groomed, with snow, awesome. Good to get out...close to GTA. Today was good, much appreciated for weather we've had/ what they can do. Clutch issue on a sled cut day short. C' est la vie.

Stayed south. Family function tonight. Hope you had sled traffic. Great day for it. Sunny, mild.

Apparently the turnout was great and there was a lot more snow from Six Mile Lake north than there was from there south. Three of us set out from Port Severn Amco and ran Little Lake as soon as we could but turned back at the intersection of C & 19 with lots of exposed rock and dirt visible. Two of the sleds were overheating. We had to stop 3 times to let them cool down and it just wasn't worth jeopardizing their engines.
