zrtkat
The morning was a cold one in Temiscaming, we unloaded our sleds took them to our room to load up saddle bags etc. Got dressed great all on the thundercat will not start I am thankful to Danny at the Temrose he got the extension cords we got the hair dryer out warmed up the relays and got it started. Learned a good lesson once it starts no shutting down be ready to pull out after warm up. Got on the trail getting going few Miles down the trail I start overheating, was up to 227 degrees light flashing pulled over dropped my scratchers off again lowered temps to 170 degrees. The trails are rock hard if we did not have scratchers we would have been shut down for the day. So it was a eventful day hoping tommorrow goes better have a 300 mile day to Mount Laurier hoping for the best 6

X2 I learned my lesson in Cochrane about 15 years ago. Sled started perfect (1st gen SDI), warmed it up & then shut it off to load up my gear. Went to start nothing. Out come the relays & a couple of minutes in my hands & they were warm enough to restart the sled. How far north are you guys headed? Look for the PLC inspired stickers in the warm up shacks on the way up and down from Mattagami. Love the Hotel Mattagami.. Turbo Doo
Remember, coming down from Matagami on the west side, theres only gas in St. Felix de dalquier, not St. Dominique Du Rosaire..If i recall. Its tight if your heavy on the flipper.......And not carrying gas...Maybe PLC can confirm...
