Just Cats unfortunately again. Yamaha is no longer a snowmobile manufacturer.

I think you are right.. I’m not holding my breath waiting for a made in Japan sled.

Their 5 years is up, they promised 5 new products in 5 years, they delivered, but what’s next?

Happily, my (Japanese) Yamahas are holding up just fine.

Theoretically, the cat buy out will lead to real Yamahas returning.

I haven't lost hope.

Bought by a defense contractor.

Textron.

I can't see them continuing using Yamaha motors.

They also bought out a motor manufacturer, the name escapes me.

Several of my "die hard" Cat friends are moving on.

Reluctantly.

Yeah I knew textron bought them out. The only motor manufacturer that comes to mind is Kymco...not sure if that’s the one your referring to or not.

Suzuki or Fuji Industries? :rotflmao:  I am quite happy with my Winder and Viper. Of course looking forward to the 9th.

Forsure, there’s no smoother engines out there. In my buddies bearcat, it’s a kymco engine. I’m not even sure if that’s how you spell it lol.

We’re going to continue to ride our vipers for the next few years anyways, even if there is something new.

Mine start fine.

50k between my Apex and Nytro.

Taking good care of them, hoping for real Yamahas to return.

Could happen.

And Trump is gonna bring back Clean Coal lol. I wish Yamaha would too, but just doesn’t make sense for them anymore.
