Looks like a fair amount of D9 is opening up this weekend.  Better late than never.   Sorry for you guys in D5  You have to wait a little longer.

Enjoy the weekend.

Just came back from 7 km rip after chores were done. Some thin spots, but better than i hoped for.  Groomer is out, ground drifting is happening.  and i am riding.  All is good in the world again.

Hats off to the volunteers, and the real Heroes, the groomer operators for getting the white ribbon trails in as good as shape as they are today with the little they have to work with.

The parking lot in Atwood was a little full this afternoon

Still about 1 1/2 miles of red that are between them just south of Ethel but should be able to use sideroads to get around it with the snow they are to get tonight.

My guess, and only a guess, is that will open tomorrow.  That is where BW trails and Maitland Valley meet.  Likely closed since Maitland Valley just opened today, and BW opened yesterday  My guess is BW will open that tomorrow.

I am looking to trailer in from Perth East (same health unit) tomorrow morning. Is there easy trail access if I park at the Monkton arena?

The trail is right behind the parking area at the arena and to the west of the parking lot there is a local trail to the restaurant in non Covid times at least.

Got 170 km on today .  All from my driveway.

Trails were all in good shape, no dirt showing in the fields, bushes were pretty good as well.  With the 14 day not really showing warm temps, we should be good for a few weeks in D9

Must have just missed you today. Seems

most are staying on marked trail in area, which is real nice to see. You think they will groom swamp this year or no?
