jcerget1
Was wondering how many miles is it to Searchmont from the Sault on the snowmobile trail? Also, I heard there is no gas in Searchmont, is that correct?
Mark
You are correct there is no gas at searchmont but there is gas at Goulais river if need . I know that l can ride from the soo to half way haven on my 850 renegade with no problems. I believe that’s about 130 ish miles. And that’s leaving from the hotel at the soo . Can’t remember how many miles it was to searchmont but the ofsc trail map can show you that . Hope this helps l will be riding that way this Thursday morning going to wawa
jcerget1
That's awesome, planning to take my boy to Canada for the first time and stay up at Halfway. I'm more worried with his sled as it's an old 2003 MXZ Rev 600.

Stay at a hotel and then drive to Searchmont in the morning. Best if it is your first time and that is only 90 miles. Went back to the longer old trail due to logging this year. The Whitman Dam Road is the trail as it passes The Driftwood. You will see all the trailers. You can even book at the Driftwood.
