RAMSOMAIR
My problem is that many others in my group have either given up or have other commitments so I have nobody to ride with.

Hey 02Sled we are with you. We both plan on riding as long as we are physically able. Anytime you are looking for someone to ride with in your area don't be afraid to pm me. Hi extreme600 .... yes it was 2016 that I met you and your husband. I also met most of OCers whilst riding and what a great bunch of people. Lots of memories and good conversations .... oh man, that's the hard part of leaving this sport behind. I'll still be riding local non-ofsc trails and Pigeon Lake and on the days I purchase a day pass I'll still get to meet some of the people on the forum. As it is.... I still have the 2020 Pass and if we get snow that sticks around .... I'll be riding in Feb and March. I do have an ATV that I'll still be riding trails with.

Dave K
 An old tale is that snow wont stick to the ground till the ditches are full. I think they are full today. 2nd pic is my field where the ditch overflows. The ditch is probably 20 feet deep, and 20 feet wide at the fence line.

stoney
If you can, take the financial aspect out of the sport and just enjoy when you are able based on the conditions, etc.... Thinking of the money and the lack of use that could come with it, just makes it harder to swallow. But once you are back in the saddle, the other thoughts quickly slip away!  3
signfan
2:00 PM Saturday. Still rain in Peterborough. Anyone in Bancroft, Barry's Bay, Cloyne, etc? How did cottage country fair so far. Are we getting snow or rain now?

I hear you.  I'm the last Man standing from our 1990's, early 2000's group.  On another note, Sault Ste. Marie missed the storm. It went South of us. We may get a dusting tonight.  Edited January 12, 2020 by Dan-Senior
